FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to an electric cable (10), mainly to high-voltage transmitting cables or overhead cables intended for energy transportation, the so-called overhead transmission lines. The electric cable comprises at least one composite load-bearing element (1) containing one or more reinforcing elements included at least partially to an organic matrix; a coating (2) that surrounds the above composite load-bearing element(s) (1), at that the above coating (2) is sealed around the whole load-bearing element(s) (1); and at least one conductive element (3) surrounding the above coating (2), wherein sealed coating is shaped as a tube with the outmost thickness of 3000 mcm.
EFFECT: the invention allows improvement of mechanical rupture strength properties by equal distribution of mechanical efforts, which may be induced by compression of conductive elements and/or sealed coating during layout of the electric cable.
