FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to electric engineering in particular to high-voltage suspended and base rod composite insulators for air lines and open distributing devices. In the insulator containing rod made of composite material and reinforced by glass fibers, inorganic phosphate bonding material serves as matrix of bearing rod composite material. Bonding material is selected from following group: magnezium, aluminium, chrome, zirconium-phosphate bonding materials, combined on their basis bonding materials and alcaline polyphosphate solutions.

EFFECT: making the isolator resistant to adverse effects during service, reliability and durability improvement.
