FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: radio relay communication station with radiofrequency receiving-transmitting units and an antenna provides electronic scanning owing to switching between primary antenna elements. Electronic scanning of a beam without any losses or with low losses is performed due to the fact that each radiofrequency unit is electrically connected at least to one primary antenna element of the scanning antenna. Scanning of antenna beam is performed by selection by means of signal distribution units of at least one of radiofrequency units for processing of the received signal and shaping of the transmitted signal in the specified spatial direction.
EFFECT: providing electronic scanning without any losses or with low losses.
