FIELD: railway communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of providing communication at a high-speed railway. The system includes internal and external data exchange networks. The internal network combines the tail radio frequency modules installed in the rear of the train, equipped with narrow-band antennas, the head radio frequency modules installed in the front of the said train and equipped with narrow-band antennas, switching equipment capable of processing signals from the said modules and providing the network devices associated with this equipment with access to an external data exchange network. An external data exchange network combines base stations with narrow-band antennas, while the base stations are able to establish communication with the tail and head radio frequency modules of the mentioned composition, while the location of the base stations relative to the railway dimension provides direct visibility between the antennas of the base stations and the antennas of radio relay modules installed on the railway train. The antennas of the base stations installed on the composition of the radio frequency modules are configured to emit radio waves in the range of short millimeter waves.

EFFECT: quality of the communication channel provided by radio relay communication lines of the “train-ground” class is improved.
