FIELD: measuring instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: multiphase liquid monitor includes bypass pipeline that can be connected to multiphase liquid pumping pipeline, calibration liquid tanks, liquid pumps, liquid analyser, flow rate meter; liquid analyser includes generator of 14 MeV neutrons and gamma spectrometers mounted on the bypass pipeline and connected to the spectrum analyser connected to microcomputer; flow rate meter is positioned at the bypass pipeline at some distance from 14 MeV neutron generator downstream by multiphase liquid flow and is connected to multichannel time analyser synchronised with 14 MeV neutron generator; additionally the monitor includes pipelines connected to calibration liquid tanks by liquid pumps, the number of pipelines equal to the number of calibration liquids, the pipelines are parallel to the bypass pipeline and together with it they form a cavity linked to external space; 14 MeV neutron generator is positioned inside the cavity, gamma spectrometers are mounted in all pipelines, are included in liquid analyser and connected to spectrum analyser, number of gamma spectrometers is equal to, or exceeds the number of pipelines, flow rate meter is positioned in the bypass pipeline at L>V×t distance from the 14 MeV neutron generator downstream by multiphase liquid flow, where V is multiphase liquid flow rate, t is irradiation time.
EFFECT: improved performance and measurement accuracy.
