FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for contactless measurement of density of substance with the help of neutron and gamma-radiation. Summary of the invention :device for radiation density measurement includes radiation source located on the axis of radiation protection unit and has the ability to change position by means of transfer apparatus, scintillation detectors with scintillators arranged in one plane in co-axial form with the source of radiation and radiation protection unit inserted into each other rings; electronic generator of pulsed radiation of fast neutrons is used as a radiation source which is connected to the control unit, scintillators in the rings are split into equal angular sectors, number of angular sectors is at least two, each of the angular sectors includes scintillators for registration of one or more types of radiation: epithermal or thermal neutrons and gamma rays, scintillators in the rings and angular sectors are arranged relative to each other with a gap scintillators intended for registration of various types of radiation, arranged in each ring alternately; scintillators designed for recording certain types of radiation are located in adjacent rings, photodetectors of scintillation detectors of epithermal and / or thermal neutrons are connected to the time analyzer, and photodetectors of scintillation gamma-ray detectors are connected to the amplitude analyzer; outputs of amplitude and time analyzers as well as control unit are connected to the processor.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling measurement of azimuthal distribution of density of the analysed substance.
