FIELD: measuring instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: device for fuel consumption measurement in internal combustion engines includes fuel flow transducer in the form of axial piston-type hydraulic motor, reduction gear connected to hydraulic motor shaft. Filter, pressure and temperature gauges installed in injection line of fuel system, electric motor connected to reduction gear shaft, electric motor rotation rate controller, rotation rate controller for axial piston hydraulic motor shaft, additional hydraulic motor with gyratory engagement serving as retaining valve in the fuel system drain line and fuel flow transducer, pressure and temperature gauges installed in fuel system drain line, and shaft rotation rate sensor for hydraulic motor with gyratory engagement. Temperature and pressure gauges and shaft rotation rate sensors of the hydraulic motor with gyratory engagement have electric connection to a microprocessor.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of internal combustion engine operation with fuel metering systems, improved accuracy of fuel consumption measurement.
