FIELD: cooling systems; internal combustion engines; vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: device for automatically driving the fan of the power plant cooling system contains an internal combustion engine (18). The engine (18) is equipped with a coolant temperature sensor (20), an engine oil temperature sensor (17), a tachogenerator (19), a cooling system radiator and an engine oil cooling radiator. There is a mechanical connection with the axial plunger adjustable pump (3), with the drain line (31) and the pump control mechanism (2). The axial plunger adjustable pump (3) is connected to a reversible hydraulic motor (12) having a drain line (24), a supply line (24) and a drain line (23). There are filters (30), (27), pressure reducing valves (11), (28) and a three-position distributor (25) with electromagnets (9), (26). The fan (14) is connected to the reversible hydraulic motor (12) through an electromagnetic coupling (13) which has a rigid connection with the vehicle body and the tachogenerator (22). The electromagnetic clutch (13), electromagnets (9), (26), pump control mechanism (2), are designed to control the control unit (8) from the button (5) for manually turning off the fan drive, button (6) of the fuel pedal, button (7) reverse, tachogenerators (22), coolant temperature sensor (20), engine oil temperature sensor (17), pressure indicator (21).
EFFECT: regulating the power expended to drive the fan, depending on the temperature conditions of the engine and the engine crankshaft speed.
