FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for the prediction of developing complications accompanying acute coronary syndrome involving blood and saliva sampling combined with examining them on the 1rd-3th day of staying in hospital for the interleukin-6 concentration. An interleukin-6 (IL-6) distribution ratio is calculated as its blood to saliva concentrations relation, and if the IL-6 distribution ratio is less than 1.0 developing cardiovascular complications are predicted for an acute period.
EFFECT: higher prediction accuracy.
