FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and aims at administering drugs into a human body. A medical injection syringe consists of a cylinder with a tip for the attachment of an injection needle and a piston rod and a finger support. At the finger support, the rod comprises a part presented in the form of an elongated bar with transverse projections or grooves on its outer side, and making an integral part with the rod. The part in the form of the elongated bar is parallel to the rod and spaced from it so that placing the piston rod in the cylinder in the working position arranges it from the outer side of a cylinder wall and mounts it along. Also, the syringe structure enables performing medical manipulations both for administering drugs into a patient's organs and tissues, and removing the pathological fluids therefrom with one hand. This provides avoiding the need to change hands holding the syringe, as well as makes another hand free to enable simultaneous manipulations with the other equipment.
EFFECT: invention enables facilitating health care staff's labour and reducing the patient's pain when performing the painful medical procedures, and making undesired complications less probable.
