SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method relevant to SCR system for engine exhaust gases purification. Proposed invention consists in the following: method relates to SCR system for engine exhaust gases purification (150), which system contains batcher (250) placed in thermal contact with engine exhaust system and designed to feed chemical reducing agent to exhaust pipe (240) of exhaust system and includes phase of determination (s340) if there is undesired level of batcher (250) temperature. The method also includes phase (s360) of exhaust pipe (240) temperature limiting if undesired level of temperature is detected. Also, the proposed invention relates to computer software product containing program code (P) for computer (200; 210; 400) designed for implementation of the method according to the invention. The invention also relates to device and vehicle (100) equipped with the proposed device.
