FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for non-penetrating deep sclerectomy. For this purpose conjunctival incision is performed. Conjunctiva is separated. Further, the sclera is exposed. Vessels are coagulated. Rectangular superficial scleral flap (SSF) with a base at the limb is formed and cut out by one third of the thickness of the sclera. Then a rectangular deep scleral flap (DSF) with a base at the limb is formed. DSF is removed to form a trabeculo-Descemet membrane (TDM). Outer wall of the Schlemm's canal is removed. Thereafter section of ciliary body 1 mm by 1.5 mm is exposed at the distal edge of the formed scleral bed in the centre of the remaining sclera layers. SSF is wrapped inward towards TDM without affecting it, and two interrupted sutures are applied along edges of SSF. Healaflow drainage is introduced inside the formed SSF fold. Conjunctival incision is sealed with two interrupted sutures to limb.

EFFECT: invention provides preservation of the surgically formed intraocular fluid outflow tracts, which in turn provides stable compensation of intraocular fluid, as well as reduced rate of postoperative complications.
