FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmological surgery, and can be used for the treatment of open angle glaucoma by a method of microinvasive non-penetrating deep sclerectomy with the formation of the trabeculo-Descemet's membrane. For this purpose a wall of the Schlemm's canal and a strip of the corneoscleral tissue are ablated. The viscoelastic VISCOT is introduced under the formed superficial scleral flap in a volume of 0.1-0.2 ml. After that, the superficial scleral flap is sewn by a single interrupted suture. The corneal paracentesis on 3 o'clock is performed. Through this 0.1 ml of the viscoelastic VISCOT is introduced into the operation zone by means of a cannula. After that, the anterior chamber of the eye is filled through the same paracentesis with viscoelastic PROVISC in a volume of 0.2-3.3 ml.
EFFECT: gradual resorption of the claimed combination of viscoelastics makes it possible to prevent complications, associated with the excessive filtration of the intraocular liquid, namely syndrome of shallow anterior chamber, oedema and detachment of the vascular membrane, displacement and closing the operation zone by the iris root in the postoperative period due to the creation of an adequate resistance to the intraocular fluid outflow and additional sealing of the filtration zone with the preservation of the underlying eye structures intact.
