FIELD: weapons
SUBSTANCE: platform for mounting auxiliary devices on light weapons (LW) contains a crown-cover with elements for attaching additional devices with a dovetail groove for connecting to the side rail of the LW receiver, a cover with elements for attaching additional devices, a cover base with supporting surfaces and a downward-facing curved spike on the bottom of the base. The base of the cover is securely fixed with the help of a standard pin of the LW receiver cover. In front of the crown-cover there is a horizontal protrusion for connection with the LW receiver. The cover is made removable and is fixed on the LW receiver by means of a screw entering the threaded hole on the base of the cover and a horizontal protrusion in the front part of the cover for connection with the crown-cover having a corresponding hole in its rear part.
EFFECT: ensuring installation of auxiliary devices on a civil LW, ease of maintenance, dismantling of the rear part of the device without involving other elements of the platform.
