FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cardboard box for packaging containers such as bags for beverages which is mounted on two sides, referred to as the lower surfaces, in an open state and comprises two halves, open at the top, and each lower surface is bounded by four sides of the cardboard box and the said two halves have one common longitudinal side which is bent in the middle in an open state and comprises the reinforcing projections on the transverse sides, each of which represents elongation of the parts of the transverse side or the entire transverse side and relates to a device for closing the package, in particular the cardboard box described above, and also to the method of closing the package, in particular the cardboard box described above.
