FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of packaging. The object of the invention is to improve operational performance due to providing increased strength and rigidity of the lid eliminating its deformation and load transfer to eggs. The package for eggs comprises the padflats of cellular structure with dividing stops in the form of projections between the cells intended for laying eggs, as well as a removable lid covering from above the padflats, made of sheet cardboard blank, from which central part along two opposite sides along the fold lines the side parts are folded for formation of two opposite side walls, resting on the padflats. The stiffening rib in the middle area of the central part is made in the form of a fold that separates the central part to the left and right fields and formed by three lines of weakened sections, made at a distance from each other in the middle area of the central part to fold the central zone between the said three lines and adjoining of the left and right fields of the central part to each other to form a flat outer surface with the location of the stiffening rib perpendicular to this surface towards the padflats, at that on one of the fields of the central part a latch is made to input it into the slot formed in the other field of the central part.

EFFECT: improving operational performance by providing increased strength and rigidity of the lid, eliminating its deformation and load transfer to eggs.
