FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: charging device for accumulator battery comprises a power supply source, a key, voltage stabiliser and current stabiliser, a control device and terminals for the accumulator battery connection. By the key the voltage supply source is coupled to the current stabiliser, output of the control device is coupled to the key control input and output terminals of the current stabiliser are coupled to terminals for the accumulator battery connection. Output of the voltage stabiliser is coupled to the first input of the current stabiliser. A measuring transducer for charging current, a measuring transducer for output voltage, voltage and current setting devices are introduced to the above device. The measuring transducer for charging current is coupled to wire breakage of one of the wires connecting output clamps of the current stabiliser with terminals for the accumulator battery connection. The measuring transducer for output voltage is coupled in parallel to terminals of the accumulator battery connection while its output is coupled to the first input of the voltage stabiliser. Output of the charging current measuring transducer is coupled to the second input of the current stabiliser and the first input of the control device. The voltage setting device is coupled to the second input of the voltage stabiliser while current setting device is coupled to the second input of the control device. Such design of the design allows full charging cycle of the accumulator battery through the only power regulating element and namely through the current stabiliser.

EFFECT: automatic shutdown of the battery charging process at the second stage before the preset value is reached.
