FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: reverse-flow steam turbine comprises the high and low pressure steam turbines, common rotor shaft, first steam path, second steam path and guiding devices (with the reducing pipe) for the first steam path from the high-pressure steam turbine towards the opposite direction through the low pressure steam turbine. The reducing pipe passes from the low pressure section of the high-pressure steam turbine to the high-pressure section of the low pressure turbine. The first steam path passes towards the first direction through the high-pressure steam turbine. The second steam path passes towards the opposite direction through the low pressure steam turbine. The instrumentation is installed on the transition steam path between the high-pressure steam turbine and low pressure steam turbine and is intended for monitoring the parameters of steam flow. The data obtained from instrumentation, located on the transition steam path, contain the information on the mixed stream used for regulation of the steam turbine. The instrumentation is installed on the transition steam path between the high and low pressure steam turbine and is intended for monitoring the parameters of steam flow.

EFFECT: limitation of an axial load is ensured, so the general efficiency of the steam path can be improved by increase of the stage reactivity.
