FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: area of application of this device includes performance of measurements of quantity of a substance in a reservoir under conditions of zero gravity and on vehicles, when there is no horizontal bedding interface, i.e. when the problem of measurement of quantity measurement may not be reduced to the problem of measurement of the substance level in the reservoir. The proposed device for measurement of substance quantity in the metal reservoir comprises a sensor in the form of a cavity of a reservoir serving as a volume resonator, to which the following components are connected: a generator of electromagnetic oscillations, modulated by frequency in the range [f1, f2], and serially connected a detector and a recorder of the number of oscillation types, excited in the reservoir. The device comprises additionally at least one generator of electromagnetic oscillations modulated by frequency connected to the reservoir. The range of variation of frequency of each of these generators represents a part subdivided into subranges [f1, f1], [f1, f2], …, [fk-1, fk], [fk, f2] of the range [f1, f2], different from the ranges of variation of frequency of other generators. Each generator may be connected to the reservoir with the help of the appropriate line of communication. The device may comprise a summator of power, to inlets of which all generators are connected, and the outlet of which is connected to the reservoir with the help of one line of communication.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement.
