FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of coatings, reflecting in the infrared region, and hardened coatings, applied on substrates, as well as to multi-component composite systems of composite coatings. The coating compositions include (a) film-forming resin, (b) coloured or opaque pigment, reflecting in the infrared region, and (c) pigment, transparent in the infrared region, and the coloured and/or the opaque pigment, reflecting in the infrared region, and a pigment, transparent in the infrared region represent separate and different components of the coating composition, and the coating composition when it is formed into a hardened coating, possesses complete reflection of sun radiation of at least 15%, measured in accordance with ASTM E 903-96, colour change depending on an observation angle of not more than 5 ΔE units in comparison with light of the control coating, which does not include the coloured and/or opaque pigment (b), reflecting in the infrared region. The coating composition when hardened has a value CIELAB L* of the hardened coating and depending on the angle constitutes not more than 50 at an observation angle of 25°.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create the sun-reflecting coating and systems of coatings obtaining colour similar to the selected colour of the coating, which is considerably less sun-reflecting, including dark, including black, colours.
