SUBSTANCE: provided is the application of a decolouration composition for the removal of coloured substances from water liquids (for instance, coloured pigments, blood-containing liquids, etc.). The decolouration composition contains one or more inorganic salts. In one of the versions of implementation, for instance, the composition contains a mixture of sodium sulphate (Na2SO4) and potassium dihydrophosphate (KH2PO4).
EFFECT: decolouration composition can be placed in liquid connection with an absorbing core, a liquid-permeable layer or their combination, into an absorbing product to facilitate decolouration of blood-containing liquids (for instance, menstrual excretions) excreted from the body.
