SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel compositions of latexes based on biopolymers and a method of obtaining and applying thereof. The novel latex compositions contain a complex biopolymer-additive (obtained as a result of co-extrusion of a biopolymer raw material of at least one additive, improving operational characteristics, and at least one plasticiser under action of shift efforts), which comes into reaction with a cross-linking agent under an impact of shear forces.
EFFECT: latex compositions, containing biopolymer nanoparticles, demonstrate improved operational characteristics for paper, cardboard with an applied coating and other areas of application with use of extremely low levels of content of additives, which improve operational characteristics.
