FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of granulating a ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer. The method includes mixing and granulation of a suspension of ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer together with water in the presence of both ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene at a temperature of granulation from 10 to 130°C for the time of granulation from 30 to 240 min with distillation of volatile components, where ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene are present in the suspension of the ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, with initiation of granulation in an amount from 0.01 to 0.5 Nm3/l.
EFFECT: low content of the ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene oligomer in the ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene granules, obtained by the method of granulating the ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, low content of finely-crushed ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene granules, high heat resistance of the moulded product, obtained from such granules.
