FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to expanding tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) copolymer, porous material, in form of profiled product, which contains such copolymer and profiled product. Expanding TFE copolymer relates to type of fine-grained powder and contains 98.0 wt %, and less polymerized TFE monomer links and, at least, 2.0 wt %, polymerised comonomer links, at least, one other comonomer in terms of total polymer weight. Other said comonomer is ethylene-nonsaturated comonomer, which is characterised by sufficiently high constant of copolymerisation with TFE for ensuring passing of copolymerisation. Copolymer is expanding with obtaining porous material, which has micro structure, characterised by presence of nodes, interconnected by fibrils.
EFFECT: obtaining expanding TFE copolymer with high content of comonomer links and its processing into porous expanding products.
