FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in making prosthetic and orthopaedic appliances, particularly used for repairing or compensating the locomotor disorders of a foot, e.g. for treating, correcting and preventing longitudinal-transverse platypodia. A semi-finished individual corrective insole is cut out of a flat material after a foot's shape. On its inside, the semi-finished insole is provided with an arched projection supporting an inner longitudinal arch of the patient's foot. The semi-finished insole can be shaped after the patient's foot after pre-heating to a plastic state, modelling after the patient's foot and setting until completely cured, and keeping the modelled shape. A frame element made of a thermally shaped material is introduced into the semi-finished insole. The frame element is arranged at a distance L1 from the point of the frame element most projecting backwards to a back edge of the semi-finished insole that makes 0.1 to 0.25 its total length L. The length L2 of the frame element makes 0.35L to 0.70L. The distance L3 from the point of the frame element most projecting forward to a front edge of the semi-finished insole makes up to 0.5L. The arched projection starts smoothly from the projection of the middle of the heel bone and finishes under a head of the first metatarsal bone. A peak height of the projection lies on a projection of the talonavicular articulation. A method for making the insole involves the uniform heating to the plastic state of the above semi-finished individual corrective insole cut out of the flat material to be overlaid above the elastic tape having a variable width, on an apparatus presented in the form of a flat platform and provided with a fixing projection for the heel fixation. The patient's foot is placed over the heated semi-finished insole; the heel is fixed, and the heads of the first and fifth metatarsal bones are pressed to the insole surface. Then, the elastic tape is used to form the arch of the foot, and the insole is exposed on the foot until cools down completely. A length-adjusted projection for fixing the patient's toe is integrated into the apparatus presented in the form of the flat platform.
EFFECT: providing the more stable resource function and higher strength, a possibility of remodelling.
