FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine control by setting the accelerator pedal depression force. With throttle opening exceeds preset threshold, accelerator pedal force is increased as compared to basic magnitude by preset value. Note here that depression force increase is readjusted so that depression force control signal magnitude is provisionally set to exceed target magnitude of depression force increase for depression force to be increased relative to said basic value by preset magnitude. Then, depression force control signal magnitude is set back to its target magnitude. Readjustment upkeep time interval is set whereat readjustment amount or depression force increase control signal magnitude is supported at magnitude exceeding said target value proceeding from accelerator pedal depression force hysteresis modulus. Readjustment amount represents readjustment amount in depression force increase control signal relative to target value of said signal.
