FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: hydraulic switching element is inserted between the corresponding pump outlets. This element makes it possible, when in one position, to combine discharge flows of two pumps so that fuel can be supplied under high pressure to atomisers of a combustion chamber, and when in the other position, to discharge some part or the whole discharge flow of the first pump to a low pressure supply line; an electronic switching control element is used to move the hydraulic switching element from one position to another.
EFFECT: simplifying and improving reliability of fuel supply to an aircraft engine.
