FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to improved foam flotation methods and compositions for foam flotation, in particular for the isolation of target products from mineral ores requiring fine grinding. Bubbling composition for foam flotation contains: medium; metal oxide ore selected from potash ore, coal, metal oxide ore, limestone, clay, sand, gravel, diatomite, kaolin, bentonite, silica, barite, gypsum, talc, zircon, fluorite and any combination thereof and containing waste rock and the target product; collector, a sulfonated polymer that has an average molecular weight from about 300 g/mol to about 100,000 g/mol and contains a residue of sulfonated vinyl alcohol, sulfonated acrylamide, sulfomethylated acrylamide, 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonate, styrene sulfonate or any combination thereof. The target product contains iron oxide, and the waste rock contains silicate, silica, carbonate, or any combination thereof. This composition is used in the foam flotation method, which includes obtaining a bubbling composition, barbotage of a bubbling composition to obtain a bubbling composition containing foam and a bubbled suspension.
EFFECT: increase in the degree of removal of target products from materials containing ultrathin particles.
