SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to the apparatuses for removing icicles and ice build-up from roofs. The apparatus comprises a housing on which a hollow spring-loaded sectoral retainer is fixed, with an opportunity of angular rotation under the influence of ice load, leading to a change in the resistance of the capacitive sensor and, as a consequence, automatic triggering of the audio signal, warning about the danger of fall of icicles and ice build-up from the roof.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of the roof.
