FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device for removal of ice crusts and icicles from roofs includes a lower edge of a roof and spring-loaded stems. The lower edge of the roof protrudes beyond a wall. Stems are designed to transfer a shaking action. An additional element installed with the possibility of movement is introduced under the lower edge of the roof. The additional element continues roof slope and is distanced from the lower edge of the roof by a minimum overlapping gap. Spring-loaded stems are hingedly connected with the additional element.

EFFECT: increased durability of roof cover, reduced power consumption, elimination of supply grid short circuit probability, achieved increased amplitude of shaking movements and multiple reduction of these actions duration.
