FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes polymerising isoprene in the presence of a catalyst; deactivating the catalyst; stabilising and modifying the polymer with a reaction product of maleic anhydride and N-alkyl-N′-phenyl-n-phenylenediamine in amount of 0.5-2.0 wt % per polymer, followed by degassing and drying the polymer. Before degassing, a solution of industrial diamond carbon is added to the polymerisate in amount of 0.005-0.1 wt % of dry substance with respect to the polymer.
EFFECT: invention raises the polymer decomposition onset temperature, improves cohesive strength of the crude rubber mixture and properties of vulcanisates without changing the standard formula.
