FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed is a method of separation of insoluble components from sylvinite, in which sylvinite is suspended in a saturated salt solution. A flocculent is introduced into the suspension, and to the composition obtained in such a way added is a foaming agent, which contains, at least, ether and/or ester, where a) ether corresponds to formula R-O-R', where R stands for linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl groups with the number of carbon atoms from 2 to 30, R′ stands for linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl groups with the number of carbon atoms from 1 to 30, b) ester is produced by the reaction of mono- or polybasic carboxylic acid with number of carbon atoms from 2 to 30 (acid residue) with mono- or polyatomic alcohol with the number of carbon atoms from 1 to 30 (alcohol residue) or c) ether and/or ester are cyclic, in which the ring size constitutes from 6 to 30 carbon atoms. The method of sylvinite floatation includes the separation of insoluble components from sylvinite by the said method and floatation of sylvine by the addition of a collector and a foaming agent for the sylvinite floatation.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of separating sylvinite and insoluble components.
