SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing a liquid water-nitrate effluent, containing nitrates of metals of metalloids. The claimed method includes a stage of the effluent calcination to convert nitrates of metals or metalloids into oxides of metals or metalloids. In the realisation of the claimed method at least one compound, selected from nitrates of metals or metalloids and other compounds of the effluents leads to the formation of an adhering oxide in the process of calcination, with the application of diluents, which contains at least one nitrate of metal or metalloid, leading to the formation in the process of calcination of a non-adhering oxide, which is added into the effluent before the stage of calcination to obtain a mixture of the effluent and diluents.
EFFECT: possibility to realise calcination of effluents with the high content of compounds, minimisation of an increase of the insulating glass composition, elimination of clogging problems due to optimisation of calcinate characteristics and reduction of requirements with respect to the glass composition.
