FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment and may be used to investigate operation of actual gears on their roller analogues. A model of a gear comprises a pair of coupled cylindrical rollers 1 and 2, arranged vertically and installed as capable of rotation in a body 5 of a friction machine. An upper roller 1 is equipped with a pair of plates 12 and 13, pressed to its end surfaces in zones of the working surface of the roller, its lower part at the side of the roller engagement with the other roller and brought near the zone of contact. The lower roller 2 is equipped with expanders 6 of its working surface. Over the expanders there are two threads 7 thrown with coverage of the zone of rollers contact, by some ends - at the side of rollers engagement - they are opened and stiffly fixed on the body 5, and by other ends - at the side of rollers disengagement - are brought closer to each other by means of a guide 8 and pulled by a weight 10.
EFFECT: it becomes possible to realise return of lubrication displaced from a zone of rollers engagement back in this zone.
