METHOD TO OPTIMISE OIL PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC E21B43/12 E21B47/08

Abstract RU 2532488 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to oil and gas industry and used to optimise oil production by sucker rod pumps. The method to optimise oil production, wherein parameters of production process are controlled and rotary speed of the pump electric motor is regulated, at that the pump fill rate calculated against dynamometer chart is selected as the main controlled process variable; volume of produced fluid is selected as the parameter subjected to optimisation while optimisation is carried out due to stepped rotation of the pump sweep rate, at that control process is carried out stepwise in automatic mode. Motor speed is set so that the pump sweep rate at this motor speed is less than the rated value, square of dynamometric chart for the pump jack operation is defined at maximum filling of the pump, and this value is taken as the basic one. Thereafter the pump sweep rate is increased, square of dynamometric chart is fixed continuously with the preset discretisation, and the pump fill factor k3 is calculated as ratio of the measured square of dynamometric chart to the basic value, at that the pump sweep rate is not changed till the pump fill rate stops changing, thereafter volume of produced liquid is defined as per the formula Si=nik3i, where n is a number of the pump sweeps, k3 is the fill factor, thereafter the pump sweep rate n is increased again and is not changed until the fill factor stops changing, the volume of produced volume is determined and fixed; at the new pump sweep rate the obtained value Si=1 is compared with the previous value Si and when the subsequent value is more than the previous one, then the subsequent frequency increment is made to the same side, and when it is less the increment is made to the other side.

EFFECT: brining the well to maximum oil production volume in automatic mode.
