FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to production of elastically straining porous material for vibration production of dynamically loaded structures used in railway and road transport facilities, in construction equipment, etc. Proposed method comprises forming of billet of coiled wire at cylindrical mandrel of three plies of spiral turns, removal of billet from the mandrel, flattening, coiling and pressing in second ply spring axes. First and third play spirals are produced by spinning of two or more wire lengths to wire bundles to be coiled.
EFFECT: higher tensile strength of finished article, longer life.
