SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the area of electric engineering and may be used for testing of single-phase inductive electric meters, in particular during error check of consumed power metering when the operating current chopping at high frequency several times higher than the frequency of the electrical grid. The device comprises storage capacitors charged by pulsating current at high chopping frequency and discharged smoothly to the grid as well as transistor chopping circuits and circuits of storage capacitors smooth discharge. Besides, the device includes two parallel circuits comprising an in-series storage capacitor and a bidirectional transistor switch, which form a bridge circuit after the tested electric meter. At that the storage capacitor in the first circuit is connected to the grid phase conductor while the capacitor of the second circuit is connected to the grid neutral conductor and in the bridge circuit diagonal line there is an in-series bidirectional thyristor and an inductance coil. At that the transistors of the bilateral transistor switches in the above circuits and the bidirectional thyristor are connected to the respective outputs if the transistor and bidirectional thyristor control unit, synchronisation of operation is made from the grid.
EFFECT: improvement of functioning efficiency of the device and check of correct power metering for newly-designed inductive meters of active power and meters of other types.
