ABLATION CONTROL DEVICE FOR REAL-TIME MONITORING OF TISSUE DISLOCATION IN RESPONSE TO APPLIED FORCE Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61B8/08 A61N7/02

Abstract RU 2532958 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to ablation control. An ablation control device (110) comprises a monitoring section (115) and a control section (120) for recording (S820) with the use of a characteristic curve (515) showing one or more displacements derived by displacement monitoring and real-time ablation termination in an ablation point when reaching the pre-set involvement dimensions. The control section (120) is additionally configured to terminate ablation in the ablation point, once finding and after initiating a peak displacement, a final displacement (420). An ablation apparatus additionally comprises a therapeutic section (105) for ablation generation in the ablation point and force application. A method for the apparatus operation involves real-time monitoring applied to the current ablation point, displacement in response to the force applied to a body tissue, recording by means of the characteristic curve of one or more displacements or the tissue ablation termination once reaching the pre-set involvement dimensions. A computer readable carrier implements a computer program executed by a processor for performing actions according to the method.

EFFECT: using the invention enables higher accuracy, speed and ease of the ablation procedure.
