FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy and can be used for production of articles from superhard tungsten carbide-based materials. It can be used in machine building and metal working. Charge matrix is composed of "BK8" alloy pellets 1-5 mcm in size that make (90±1) wt % and monocrystalline nanopowder of tungsten carbide sized to 10-200 nm with logarithmically normal function of nanopowder particle distribution in sizes in amount of (10±1) wt %. After mixing, said charge is subjected to annealing by heating in vacuum to 600-700°C for 3 hours and curing for one hour. Further heating is made to annealing temperature of 1250-1300°C for one hour and holding for 10 minutes to cool down the mould no normal temperature.
EFFECT: high hardness, tensile strength, wear resistance and resistance against radiation.
