FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the tungsten carbide based sintered hard alloys, which can be used to make cutting tools for working with hard-to-machine steels and alloys. Tungsten carbide based sintered hard alloy manufacturing mixture contains the cobalt based cementing bond powder, a preliminary treated powder with a particle size of 1–2 mcm, produced by the nanosized tungsten carbide consolidating by the pulsed energy transfer or based on it composition, containing the carbides, nitrides, carbonitrides, transition metal borides of 4–6 subgroup or their compounds nanosized powder, with a hardness exceeding the tungsten carbide and compatible with it hardness, followed by grinding, chromium carbide Cr3C2 containing cement bond powder, vanadium carbide VC, tungsten carbide WC and cobalt is the rest, and unprocessed nanosized tungsten carbide powder in the following ratio of components. Also disclosed is the above-mentioned mixture production method.
EFFECT: enabling the wear-resistant sintered hard alloy manufacturing from the above-mentioned mixture, having both high hardness and crack resistance.
