FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device for steam valve stem disconnection comprises an electric drive with its rod being fitted by a stop at its end for the valve stem end to be inserted, a releaser with its casing being connected to the electric drive on one side and to a spherical thrust hinge - on the other side and consisting of a closing bush on which a compensating spring interacting with the stop is mounted, a releaser state sensor and dogs, the said closing bush, releaser state sensor and the dog are installed at the valve stem end.
EFFECT: improved protection of a steam turbine and provision for relief from axial action on the valve stem and actuation of emergency shutdown system of units in case of emergency.
