FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in this method to produce excessive pressure in a receiver including the receiver with massive walls, heat insulation and heating and designed to be operated under high gas pressure, a ball-shaped segment in the form of a cap attached to the receiver is used as an ignition unit. The cowl is communicated with the receiver by an inlet hole with a valve. An air compressor pumps the excessive air pressure into the combustion cap where fuel is injected and then ignited. Afterwards working gases are delivered directly to the receiver. As soon as the cycle of pumping the working gas into the receiver is finished, the spring valve is closed. During the intervals after the inlet valve set before the receiver is actuated, the combustion cap cavity is blown through by small air pressure provided by the air compressor. Each cycle is repeated up to complete filling of the receiver with the high-pressure compressed gas until the pressures in the cap cavity and in the receiver cavity are equal. So, cyclic supply of fuel with air is finished when operating pressures are balanced.
EFFECT: increased volumetric capacity, reduced power consumption and improved reliability by preventing the compressed gas from being saturated with the vapours of produced working gas.
