FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: discharging of exhaust gases from a cylinder of the engine is performed separately into two branch pipes of exhaust pipe line. The first branch pipe is connected with outlet valves, and the second one is connected to a port provided in a sleeve. In addition energy of exhaust gases can be utilized by connecting the branch pipes to a multi-stage unit. Reverse flow of exhaust gases to cylinder through the sleeve port is provided for cooling inflowing gases. A part of exhaust gases is by-passed to inlet of the engine and cooled.
