FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spraying of fluids and may be used in fire fighting, agriculture, etc. Proposed baffle plate comprises case for connection to fluid feed distribution pipe union. Nozzle has central taper chamber connected with jet. Said jet consists of cylindrical orifice and taper orifice diverging in fluid spray direction. Baffle plate is secured to nozzle end surface axially symmetric about aforesaid casing. Said baffle consists of, at least, two parallel plates arranged perpendicular to said casing. Note here that first plate has central hole and is secured to nozzle side wall by at least three fasteners. The latter comprise screw, spacer shims arranged between first plate and nozzle end surface. Second solid plate is secured to the first one by at least three fasteners. The latter comprise screw, spacer shims arranged between the plates. Second solid plate is perforated and convexed toward nozzle end surface. Note here that perforation degree depends on fluid thickness and required dispersity of fluid flow.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of spraying.
