FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: baffle for atomisers comprises a connecting pipe of the distribution pipeline to supply liquid and a nozzle made with a central conical chamber which is coupled to a jet consisting of a cylindrical orifice hole and a conical hole expanding in the direction of the liquid spraying; a plate baffle consisting of at least two plates perpendicular to the body axis and parallel to each other, is attached to the end face surface of the nozzle. The first plate is fitted by a central hole and is attached to the end face surface of the nozzle with the help of fastening elements including a screw and spacing shims set between the first plate and the end face surface of the nozzle, and the second plate is made solid and is attached to the first plate with the help of fastening elements including a screw and spacing shims set between the plates, the second solid plate of the plate baffle is provided with orifice grooves of rectangular section which are distanced from the central orifice hole as parallel and symmetrical to the horizontal axis of the solid plate, and the horizontal axes of the peripheral orifice grooves of rectangular section are laid at the parallel horizontal axes. Their distance from the central orifice groove is decreasing from the centre to the periphery, and the areas of their flow sections are increasing from the periphery to the centre. The amount of the peripheral orifice grooves depends on the viscosity of the liquid being sprayed and the required degree of atomisation of the sprayed liquid flow.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of liquid atomising.
