FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to firefighting equipment. Proposed nozzle comprises case, coupling nut, insert, swirling chamber, nozzle and disc. Disc abuts the insert end face on the side of tangential channels. Insert with tangential convergent channels and disc are made of cermet. Inlet edges of tangential channels are rounded. Central hole is made in coupling nut end surface axially symmetric about aforesaid case. Said hole consists of cylindrical and taper parts. Insert has tangential channels and swirling chamber. Cavity is located perpendicular to case axis. Swirling chamber is communicated with tangential channels. Orifice is made in insert bottom part. Disc abuts the insert end face on the side of tangential channels perpendicular to case axis. Plate sprayer is secured to nozzle end surface axially symmetric about aforesaid casing. Sprayer consists of parallel plates arranged perpendicular to case axis. First plate has central hole while second plate is solid and secured to first plate by fasteners: screw and spacer gage washers. Said washers are fitted between plates.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of spraying.
