FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal vortex atomiser includes a housing, a coupling nut, an insert with tangential channels converging in a flow direction, a vortex chamber, a nozzle and a disc adjacent to the insert face on the side of the tangential channels. The insert and the disc are made from metal ceramics; inlet edges of the tangential channels are rounded; in the end surface of the coupling nut there is a central hole axisymmetrically to the housing, which consists of a cylindrical part and a conical part, and the insert has at least three tangential channels located in a plane perpendicular to the housing axis, as well as the vortex chamber connected to the tangential channels, a throttle hole coaxial to the housing and located in the lower part of the insert and a disc adjacent to the insert face on the side of the tangential channels perpendicular to the housing axis, and to the end surface of the coupling nut there attached axisymmetrically to the housing is a plate-like sprayer consisting of at least two plates perpendicular to the housing axis and parallel to each other, one of which, i.e. the first plate has a central hole, and the other plate is of a solid type and attached to the first one by means of at least three fasteners including a screw and spacing calibration washers to be installed between the plates, as well as between the end surface of the coupling nut and the first plate. The second solid-type plate of the plate-like sprayer is not flat, but convex or concave. Top of the convex surface can be directed both towards the end surface of the coupling nut and from it, and the second plate of the plate-like sprayer is perforated in a section restricted with spacing calibration washers to be installed between the plates and the plate-like sprayer.
EFFECT: improving the fine liquid spraying efficiency owing to reducing flow resistance of an atomiser at maintaining flow characteristics and providing a homogenous degree of mixing with inflowing medium.
