FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in measurement systems of flow velocity of a multiphase fluid mixture. Device (1) includes radiation device (2), detection device (3) and analysis device (4). Radiation device (2) generates beam (11, 12) of photons to obtain the above mixture spatially along section (19) of the mixture flow. Detection device (3) is configured spatially to receive photons from the above section (19) of the mixture flow at different time intervals and to shape an image of spatial distribution of the received photons for each of the above time intervals. Analysis device (4) determines flow velocity of one or more phases of the above said mixture based on time sequence of images of spatial distributions of the received photons.
EFFECT: higher accuracy.
