FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device (1) for measurement of flow rate and/or composition of multiphase fluid mixture. The device includes measuring instrument (2) that can generate a pulse beam of photons for irradiation of the fluid mixture spatially along section (19) of the flow of the mixture. Control device (6) is made so that is can apply pre-determined voltage dependent on time to measuring instrument (2) during one pulse of photons. Device (3) for detection is spatially configured for reception of photons leaving section (19) of the flow of the mixture at different points of time during the pulse of photons so that images of spatial distribution of received photons can be shaped for each of the points in time. Analysis device (4) is made so that it can determine flow rate of one or more phases of the mixture and/or composition of the mixture based on time sequence of images of spatial distribution of received photons.
EFFECT: easier method and simpler device for measurement of flow rate and/or composition of a multiphase fluid mixture, as well as improved accuracy of determination of flow rate and/or composition of the multiphase fluid mixture.
