SUBSTANCE: scope of application: for X-ray testing of a circumferential weld of a pipeline. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that an X-ray testing device for a circumferential weld of the pipe includes a directed X-ray radiation source that is introduced to a section of the pipeline and that can be rotated in the pipeline, a device for alignment of the directed X-ray radiation source with an external X-ray radiation detector so that both of them can be rotated through 360°, mainly coaxially to the section of the pipeline, as well as a device for sampling of the data detected by the X-ray radiation detector for further analysis.

EFFECT: improving quality of X-ray testing of a circumferential weld of a pipeline.
